Qualification
The candidate should have passed +2 stage examination of 10+2 system or equivalent Examination in any academic or Vocational Stream with English as compulsory subject. The candidate selected provisionally will not be allowed to join / continue in case they fail in +2 stage examination or are placed in compartment

Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination may also apply provisionally.
Age limit -
22 Years as on 1st July.
25 Years for SC/ST Candidates.
How to apply:
Admission is carried out on an All India basis by National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Pusa, New Delhi. The eligible candidates are required to register themselves for an All India Written Entrance Examination held at various centres of the country. The announcement regarding this examination features in all. leading newspapers of the country in December-January and examination is held in April. Application may be made as per instructions given in the advertisement. The application forms are to be forwarded to the National Council for Hotel Management, according to the address mentioned in the newspaper advertisement.
An objective written examination is held in English & Hindi to test the candidates in
(a) Reasoning and logical deductions
(b) Numerical ability and scientific aptitude
(c) General knowledge and
(d) English language.
On the basis of performance in the Written Entrance Examination, candidates are called for an interview, which is held at various regional institutes. Selected candidates are informed directly. The final selection is on the basis of the overall performance in written Entrance Examination and Interview.
